Storyline
In the early 1940s, near the period Japanese withdrew from Taiwan, a anonymous teacher (Kousuke Atari) is sent to the southernmost small town of Hengchun, falls in love with local girl named Japanese as Kojima Tomoko (Rachel Liang Van Lam). After Japanese complete failure in World War II, the teacher was forced to expel by the Chinese military occupation of Taiwan. On the way home, he wrote seven love letters to express that conviction when leaving Kojima Tomoko, who was intending to flee to Japan with him.
Aga, a band singer, returns to Hengchun with frustration. Tomoko is a Japanese model assigned to organize a local warm-up band for the Japanese super star beach concert. Together with other five ordinary Hengchun residents who were not expected to be great or anything, they formed an impossible band.
